Military Equipment Stolen from Tustin Reserve Center in Brazen Theft

Tustin, California: A major theft of military equipment occurred at the U.S. Army Reserve Center in Tustin on the night of January 8, 2025. Thieves gained access by cutting through a perimeter fence and made off with three Humvees and an assortment of military-grade equipment.

According to the Tustin Police Department, the stolen items include machine gun mounts, night vision goggles, bayonets, and other tactical gear. The incident occurred between 8 PM and 11:30 PM, raising concerns about the security protocols at the facility.

Local and federal authorities are collaborating to recover the stolen equipment and apprehend those responsible. “This is a serious breach, and we are prioritizing this investigation,” said a spokesperson for the Tustin Police Department. 

Law enforcement has urged the public to come forward with any information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the stolen equipment. The missing items pose significant security concerns if they fall into the wrong hands.
