The Russian Defense Ministry recently reported substantial Ukrainian losses in the ongoing conflict in the Kursk area. Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine has reportedly lost more than 350 servicemen and 25 armored vehicles. According to these claims, total Ukrainian losses in the Kursk Region now exceed 28,300 servicemen since hostilities began. Additionally, substantial military hardware, including tanks, artillery, and motor vehicles, has been destroyed, significantly impacting Ukraines's operational capacity in the area.

The Russian Investigative Committee also announced a criminal investigation against Ukrainian forces accused of shelling a historic estate in Kursk, highlighting rising tensions and the continued devastation of the region.

These numbers, reported by the Russian state media outlet TASS, underscore the intensity of the conflict and the heavy toll it has taken on personnel and equipment. Since the onset of hostilities, Ukraine has reportedly lost 180 tanks, 101 infantry fighting vehicles, 106 armored personnel carriers, 1,055 other armored combat vehicles, and 759 motor vehicles. The list also includes 240 artillery pieces, 40 multiple rocket launchers, and several HIMARS and US-made MLRS systems.

The sustained clash underscores the broader geopolitical tensions at play, with substantial military resources committed on both sides.
